The EZ Care Chair is a combination mobile chair, lateral transfer device, and gurney for transferring and transporting highly dependent patients. It is currently a prototype device and is not yet available for purchase. The system provides a fast, safe, virtually painless, cost effective way for a single caregiver to transfer most patients with minimal disturbances of the patient and no lifting or dragging by the caregiver.
